the next quilt :: sashiko all over

Some fabrics from my stash have been sewn together, some cotton, double gauze & some linen.  All fabrics that I love and that I've finally put to use.

 I'm using sashiko thread to do the quilting and I plan on covering the whole quilt with the stitching.

 One piece I have hand sewn on top.

 This quilt is 3 layers - the top, a layer of calico and the backing.

 I did have to buy the backing which is a green linen.

These stools caught my eye, there were a couple out the back as well.  Just a little out of my budget, a  pic will have to do...

forgot to keep a little liberty

My fabric sampler made it out of the cupboard the other day so I updated it with a couple of new liberty's, unfortunately I forgot to keep a tiny piece of this one...  Does that mean I need to buy a small amount?
